This article takes as its object the fan made trailer Mario: The movie, which brings the narrative of the video game Super Mario in the form of a movie trailer. Our analysis part of this appropriation, made by fans, language and aesthetics of the movie trailer and the narrative of a video game, to think about how certain elements of pop culture and movie universe are already part of the culturaland aesthetic references of many people.Key words: cinema, video game, fan made trailer.||O presente artigo toma como objeto o fan made trailer Mario: o filme, que traz a narrativa do videogame Super Mario na forma de um trailer de cinema. Nossa análise parte dessa apropriação, feita por fãs, da linguagem e estética do trailer de cinema e da narrativa de um jogo eletrônico, para pensar como certos elementos da cultura pop e do universo cinematográfico já fazem parte das referências culturais e estéticas de muitas pessoas.Palavras-chave: cinema, videogame, fan made trailer.
