Este ensaio tem como objetivo refletir sobre o ato de imaginar e o ato de rememorar por meio de exposição fotográfica. São processos específicos no centro da perspectiva de suplementação do projeto do Memorial do Ministério Público do Estado do Maranhão (MPMA) e da sua relação com o público-visitante, e pertinente à comunicação governamental de um órgão independente do Estado. Esta reflexão, à luz dos pensamentos de Didi-Huberman (2012), Andreas Huyssen (2000), Boris Kossoy (2014) e Teresa Ruão (2015), orienta a pesquisa documental de 4.704 fotografias sobre as cerimônias solenes e suas análises; orienta a escolha de 18 fotografias e da própria sequência de exposição e os critérios de avaliação por parte do público-visitante.Palavras-chave Comunicação governamental. Specific processes are at the center of the supplementary perspective of the project of the Public Prosecutor's Memorial of the State of Maranhão (MPMA) and its relationship with the visiting public, and relevant to the governmental communication of a body independent of the State. This reflection, in the light of the thoughts of Didi-Huberman (2012), Andreas Huyssen (2000), Boris Kossoy (2014) and Teresa Ruão (2015) guides the documentary research of 4,704 photographs on the solemn ceremonies and their analyzes, guides the selection of 18 photographs and the exhibition sequence itself and the evaluation criteria by the visiting public.Keywords: Government communication.
