Este trabalho aborda a evolução do circo no Brasil, considerando-se elementos que defi nam ou interfiram em sua estruturação física e estética, suas relações internas e externas, no período de conformação do circo-teatro brasileiro.This work presents a study of the evolution of the circus in Brazil, considering factors that define or interfere in its physical and aesthetic structure, its internal and external relations, in the period of conformation of circustheatre.
