This article aims to investigate how the image is important for the reflections about the absurd and the rebellion in the philosophical thought of Albert Camus. For the author, the image provides the occasion for reflection and does not separate itself from it, since the thought by images is configured as a more integral thought, operating in the intercrossing of sensory experience and philosophical reflection. Thus, it can be said that Camus suggests to the philosophy of his time to think about the human condition from the dissolution of boundaries between the philosophical text and the literary narrative, proposing to the philosopher a refusal to the mere construction of conceptual systems that ultimately separate thought and experience. For Camus, such philosophy would be configured through the image, leading to a clear reflection of human existence.||Este artigo pretende investigar como a imagem é preponderante para as reflexões sobre o absurdo e a revolta no pensamento filosófico de Albert Camus. Para o autor, a imagem fornece ocasião para a reflexão e não se separa desta, uma vez que o pensamento por imagens configura-se como um pensamento mais integral, operando no entrecruzamento da experiência sensível com a reflexão filosófica. Sendo assim, pode-se dizer que Camus sugere à filosofia de seu tempo pensar a condição humana a partir da diluição das fronteiras entre o texto filosófico e a narrativa literária, propondo ao filósofo uma recusa à mera construção de sistemas conceituais que, no limite, apartam pensamento e experiência. Para Camus, tal filosofia se configuraria por meio da imagem, conduzindo a uma reflexão lúcida sobre a existência humana.
