Descrição
This paper follow an historical path on the relations between psychoanalysis and surrealism through the meetings and misunderstandings of four characters: Freud, Breton, Dali and Lacan. Through these characters, art and psychoanalysis approach and distance themselves when they deal with topics such as the unconscious and the language, the erasure or affirmation of the self, the signifier and the image as foundations of reality.

O texto propõe um percurso histórico sobre as relações entre psicanálise e surrealismo através dos encontros e desencontros de quatro personagens: Freud, Breton, Dali e Lacan. Através destes personagens arte e psicanálise se aproximam e se distanciam ao tratarem de temas como: o inconsciente e a linguagem, o apagamento ou a afirmação do eu, o significante e a imagem como fundamentos da realidade.
