A indicação das obras é acompanhada de comentários que destacam aspectos relacionados ao texto (tema, gênero, linguagem, estrutura, forma) e à composição do livro (projeto gráfico, ilustração, capa). Elementos teóricos da estética da recepção e da sociologia da literatura norteiam as reflexões desenvolvidas no artigo.
