Considering the state of the art proposed by Freeman (2007) about the contemporary interfaces between cognitive linguistic and literary criticism on the approaches to creative texts of high aesthetics potential, this study aims at reflecting on virtual approximation and distance between the disciplines, in the analyses and interpretation of the literary work. This article discusses, thus, literary notions and pertinent aspects to the non-disciplinary accomplish of hermeneutists opposed to the normative way linguists develop their work. ||A partir do estado da arte proposto por Freeman (2007) acerca das interfaces contemporâneas entre lingüística cognitiva e crítica literária na abordagem de textos criativos, de alto desempenho estético, este artigo propõe refletir sobre as possíveis aproximações e distâncias entre as disciplinas, na análise e interpretação da obra literária. Discutem-se, assim, noções de literariedade e aspectos pertinentes à formação indisciplinar dos hermeneutas em contraponto ao olhar normativo dos lingüistas.
