The paper aims, beginning with the analysis of the static and genetic methods, to understand the relation between the two methodological models with which the husserlian phenomenology operates. Since, on the one hand, the static path starts from the constituted objects inquiry at its finished form, by referring them to the ultimate legitimizing source, to the transcendental subjectivity, and, on the other hand, the genetic path, conducting an inquiry back, goes down to the ground levels of constitution, getting ultimately to layers preceding any egoic-activity; it comes out the question of where resides effectively the ultimate ground of phenomenology. Despite the apparent ground conflict, we will seek to defend the methodological solidarity between both grounds by using the husserlian idea of a “zigzag” among the two directions.||O artigo visa, a partir da análise dos métodos estático e genético, compreender a relação entre os dois modelos metodológicos com os quais a fenomenologia husserliana opera. Na medida em que, por um lado, a via estática parte da análise dos objetos constituídos em sua forma acabada, os remetendo à fonte legitimadora última da subjetividade transcendental, e, por outro lado, a via genética, efetuando uma questão-em-retorno, desce aos níveis últimos da constituição, chegando, no limite, até camadas anteriores a toda atividade egóica; aparece a questão de saber em qual via reside o fundamento efetivamente último da fenomenologia. Apesar do aparente conflito de fundamentos, buscaremos defender a solidariedade metodológica entre os dois fundamentos, empregando a noção husserliana de um “ziguezague” entre as duas direções.
