This paper presents a study of the feminist criticism connected to gender, seemed as a manner of discuss the male hegemony in the contemporary literary history. This is a review of Lucia Zolin comments about the trends advocated by the Anglo-American, French and Brazilian theories in the construction of identity and the difference’s spot. To this end, I believe that is important to tally the ambivalence’s game that culture maintains in its historical structure, from the perspective of Zygmunt Bauman. As Ella Shohat and other researchers, I associate the concept of flexible culture to the eurocentric attitude which presupposes the analysis of gender on the relations with different histories and geographies . In order to contemplate materiality of the analysis, it was chosen the reading and interpretation of feminist criticism offered by two masterworks: Navegações (1996), by Sophia de Mello Andresen, and O rio do meio (1996), by Lya Luft, that allow interconnections between fiction and reality on an examination of social structures that mediate choices in opposition to historically established oppression.||O presente ensaio consiste em um estudo da crítica feminista articulado ao gênero, visto como modo de discutir a hegemonia masculina na história contemporânea do literário. Trata-se de uma revisão sobretudo acerca das colocações de Lúcia Zolin sobre tendências preconizadas pela teoria anglo-americana, francesa e brasileira na construção de identidade e do lugar da diferença. Para tanto, entendo ser relevante pontuar o jogo de ambivalências que a cultura detém em sua estrutura histórica, sob a perspectiva de Zygmunt Bauman. Associo o conceito de cultura flexível à atitude eurocêntrica a qual pressupõe a análise do gênero nas relações com diferentes histórias e geografias, como estabelece Ella Shohat entre outros pesquisadores. Para contemplar a análise em sua materialidade literária, tomo a leitura e interpretação oferecida pela crítica feminista a partir de duas obras: Navegações (1996), de Sophia de Mello Andresen, e O rio do meio (1996), de Lya Luft, que permitem interconexões com a ficção e a realidade num exame sobre estruturas sociais que negociam escolhas em contraponto à opressão instituída historicamente.
