Althusser afirma que “a imensa revolução teórica de Marx” é o conceito de causalidade estrutural. Apesar de Marx tê-lo apenas esboçado por meio de uma série de termos como Verbindung, Gliederung ou Dasrtellung, este conceito ocupa, segundo Althusser, o cerne de Ler Le Capital. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar que a interpretação althusseriana de Marx está fundamentada em uma concepção de causalidade cuja estrutura filosófica depende de três diferentes teses: a constitutividade de relações, a contingência das relações e a temporalidade plural.||Althusser claims that “Marx’s immense theoretical revolution” involves the concept of structural causality. Although Marx outlined it only briefly through a series of terms such as Verbindung, Gliederung, and Darstellung, this concept lies for Althusser at the core of Reading Capital. The aim of this paper is to show that Althusser’s interpretation of Marx is grounded in a conception of causality whose philosophical structure depends on three different theses: the constitutivity of relations, the contingengy of relations, and plural temporality.
