A pesquisa objetivou compreender quais seriam as principais características do “bom professor”, a partir da visão de seus professores. Ou seja, buscou-se identificar o conceito de “bom professor”, buscando, entre os professores mais bem avaliados pela Avaliação Institucional, dos quatro cursos mais bem avaliados pelo ENADE na Instituição, o que eles próprios definem como características de um bom professor. Os resultados encontrados na pesquisa foram colocados em diálogo com os resultados de outras pesquisas já realizadas sobre o tema, bem como, com a literatura existente, respeitando as especificidades do tipo de IES da presente pesquisa.Palavras-chave: Bom Professor. Avaliação Docente.AbstractThis article presents part of the results of a dissertation held in the Professional Master's Program in Social Management, Education and Local Development of UNA University Center in Belo Horizonte. The research aimed to understand what would be the main characteristics of the "good teacher", from the perspective of their teachers. That is, we tried to identify the concept of "good teacher", searching among the teachers most evaluated by the Institutional Evaluation of the four courses most evaluated by ENADE in the Institution, which they themselves define as characteristics of a good teacher. The results found in the research were placed in dialogue with the results of other research already done on the subject, as well as with the existing literature, respecting the specificities of the Institution type of the present research.Keywords: Good Teacher.
