The article revisits the creative process of costumes at the Théâtre du Soleil through testimonials given by costume designers-seamstresses Marie-Hélé€ne Bouvet and Nathalie Thomas and Juliana Carneiro da Cunha, one of the longest-running actresses in the French company. Through the description of the collaboration of four actors ”“ Georges Bigot, Juliana Carneiro da Cunha herself, Shaghayegh Beheshti, and Simon Abkarian ”“ the research highlights the effective participation of the actors in the process of creating the costumes. The main bibliographic references are VIANA (2016; 2004) and FÉRAL (1998;2010).
