This work analyzes the situation of architecture and poetry in the context of the fine arts from the considerations of three German philosophers: Immanuel Kant, GeorgW. Hegel and Arthur Schopenhauer. An attemptis made to understand why poetry is always in an elevated position within the hierarchy of the art system and architecture is always at the base of this hierarchy.||Este trabalho analisa a situação da arquitetura e da poesia no âmbito das chamadas belas-artes a partir das considerações de três filósofos alemães: Immanuel Kant, Georg W. F. Hegel e Arthur Schopenhauer. Busca se uma tentativa de entendimento de o porquê a poesia estar sempre numa posição elevada dentro da hierarquia do sistema das artes e aarquitetura figurar sempre na base dessa hierarquia.
