Having a series of interviews with residents of an urban occupation as vestiges of the past, this article intends to historically build the emergence of community media in the self-construction of Jardim Nova Esperança in Goiânia-GO. However, this construction will be linked to a concern to problematize a methodological path that will be affirmed basically with the notions of collaboration, field and co-theorizing, ideas problematized by anthropologist Joanne Rappaport. These notions are contained in a larger project called Southern Epistemologies. In addition to this issue, we seek to highlight the nuances of the daily lives of the interviewed residents regarding the complex social movement they built in relation to the self-constructive process of their homes.||A partir de uma série de entrevistas feitas com moradores(a) de uma ocupação urbana, tratadas como vestígios do passado, pretende-se com o presente artigo construir historicamente o surgimento da mídia comunitária na autoconstrução do Jardim Nova Esperança em Goiânia-GO. Todavia, tal construção será vinculada a uma preocupação em problematizar um caminho metodológico que irá se afirmar basicamente com as noções de colaboração, campo e co-teorização, ideias problematizadas pela antropóloga Joanne Rappaport. Estas noções estão contidas em um projeto maior chamado de Epistemologias do Sul. Para além desta questão, busca-se evidenciar as nuances da vida cotidiana dos moradores(a) entrevistados referentes ao complexo movimento social construído pelos mesmos em relação ao processo autoconstrutivo de suas moradias.
