RESUMO: O presente trabalho apresenta algumas noções acerca da mestiçagem cultural enquanto forma de interculturalidade. Seu principal objetivo é apresentar um sucinto paralelo entre os modos como os franceses Serge Gruzinski e Michel Serres abordam essa questão. Não obstante, procura demonstrar inicialmente como nossa cultura acha-se impregnada por um modelo racional binário estruturado em torno da noção de identidade, que, ao extrapolar os limites do campo científico, pode resultar em contextos de sofrimento e exclusão humanos.
ABSTRACT: This paper presents some ideas about the cultural miscegenation as a form of interculturalism. Its main purpose is to present a brief parallel between how the french Serge Gruzinski and Michel Serres address this issue. Nevertheless, initially seeks to demonstrate how our culture thinks is impregnated by a binary rational model structured around the notion of identity, which, when extrapolating the limits of the scientific field can result in human suffering and exclusion contexts.
