Adone Agnolin, Ph.D. in Social History and Professor at the University of São Paulo, has been working for a long time in the area of Modern History, dealing with themes related to the History of Religions. In this interview, the historian traces a program and a historiographic trajectory, following the Italian School, of the consolidation of the discipline as an autonomous and open field of studies.
