In this article, I bring a reflection on the capacity of social bonding that the projects of educational actions for the heritage (or patrimonial education) offer. Its main feature is the Iphan Heritage Houses, considering that these spaces must go beyond the function of a technical office, when, in their majority, they act in demands for inspection and conservation of listed material heritage assets, causing more conflicts than dialogue and social participation, preserving cultural heritage. The work presents an alliance between the concepts of Heritage Education, Heritage Networks and Project Methodology, joining the storytelling as an effective possibility of preserving and disseminating cultural references, memories and identities of the community. To this end, it establishes the need to structure educational actions for cultural heritage that are established on a local network of partnerships, in action and management projects shared with the local government and the community, on a permanent basis, striving for the expansion of capacity practice of real execution of the National Heritage Education Policy. Finally, it demonstrates, with the Quintal do Patrimônio project, how heritage networks and storytelling can be effective as an instrument for disseminating and safeguarding cultural heritage, based on what the community feels and experiences as such.||Trago, no presente artigo, uma reflexão acerca da capacidade de enlace social que oferecem os projetos de ações educativas para o patrimônio (ou educação patrimonial). Tem como recorte as Casas do Patrimônio Iphan, considerando que esses espaços devem ir além da função de escritório técnico, quando, em sua maioria, atuam em demandas de fiscalização e conservação de bens patrimoniais materiais tombados, provocando mais conflitos que diálogo e participação social, na preservação do patrimônio cultural. O trabalho apresenta uma aliança entre os conceitos de Educação Patrimonial, Redes de Patrimônio e Metodologia de Projetos, unindo-se à contação de histórias como possibilidade efetiva de preservação e difusão das referências culturais, das memórias e das identidades da comunidade. Para tanto, firma a necessidade de se estruturar ações educativas para o patrimônio cultural que se estabeleçam sobre uma rede local de parcerias, em projetos de ação e gestão compartilhadas com o poder público local e a comunidade, de forma permanente, primando pela ampliação da capacidade prática de execução real da Política Nacional de Educação Patrimonial. Por fim, demonstra, com o projeto Quintal do Patrimônio, como redes de patrimônio e contações de histórias podem ser efetivas enquanto instrumento de difusão e salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural, a partir do que a comunidade sente e vivencia como tal.
