This article deals with the reinterpretation of a popular educational movements of Rio Grande do Norte, in the Decade of 1960, seeking to understand the participation of women in social and political landscape of relationships established networks from their practices, in order to analyze the settings and the semantic unveiling the project as perceived by these protagonists. We seek to understand how these women were viewing your social insertion, your educational practice and the reasons that led him to integrate a project considered educational, popular and democratic. The work was developed from the methodology of the Comprehensive Discourse Analysis based on studies of Jean-Claude Kaufmann, intertwining the interviewed speeches with the theories that suggest to understand the foundations of their practices.||O presente artigo trata da reinterpretação de um dos movimentos de Educação popular do Rio Grande do Norte, na Década de 1960, buscando compreender a participação das mulheres no cenário político social e as redes de relações estabelecidas a partir de suas práticas, de modo a analisar as configurações e os desvelamentos semânticos do projeto tal como foi percebido por essas protagonistas. Procuramos perceber de que forma essas mulheres visualizavam sua inserção social, sua prática educativa e os motivos que as levaram a integrar um projeto considerado educativo, popular e democrático. O trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir da metodologia da Análise Compreensiva do Discurso baseada nos estudos de Jean-Claude Kaufmann, entrelaçando a fala das entrevistadas com as teorias que oportunizam entender os fundamentos de suas práticas.
