This article shows how television in the digital age faces the challenge of media convergence. On the internet, the language of TV is not solved, having text and video editing as support for a new language. The video, in the same size and format displayed on television, is practically neglected by the Internet user and ends up being accessed as a search on own rails instead of being informative material for the user. To demonstrate how this information reading feature on the internet creates a new relationship between text and videos on the Internet will be analyzed three reports from the Globo G1 website. The inclusion of unedited videos, different from the stories published in the news programs, generated more access, indicating the characteristics of the user and what is sought in terms of videos on the Internet, that is, a narrative and a language constructed not only by the vehicle of communication , but also from the interaction with Internet users and the breaking of old paradigms about ways of reporting a fact.||Este artigo mostra como a televisão na era digital enfrenta o desafio da convergência de mídia. Na internet, a linguagem de TV não se resolve, tendo o texto e a edição de vídeos como suporte para uma nova linguagem. O vídeo, no mesmo tamanho e formato exibido na televisão, é praticamente desprezado pelo internauta e acaba acessado como consulta em trilhos próprios ao invés de ser um material informativo para o usuário. Para demonstrar como essa característica de leitura de informações na internet cria uma nova relação entre texto e vídeos na internet serão analisadas três reportagens do site G1, da Rede Globo. A inclusão de vídeos sem edição, diferentes das matérias veiculadas nos telejornais, geraram mais acessos, indicando as características do internauta e do que se procura em termos de vídeos na internet, ou seja, uma narrativa e uma linguagem construídas não apenas pelo veículo de comunicação, mas também a partir da interação com os internautas e da quebra de antigos paradigmas sobre as formas de se noticiarem um fato.
