In this text we aim to present elements that contributed to the construction of the notion of Sacred Iberia. Starting from the approaches between sacred / profane, the mythification of this space is the result of the presence and invention of relics of the saints, and of objects related to Christian history. In the medieval context the sacred vestiges served as a factor of attraction, and of valorization of kingdoms and cities. The relics are evoked as memory producers, which validate a past of exceptionality, solidifying the holy places and the memorable characters that constitute the identity of the region.||Neste texto temos por objetivo apresentar elementos que contribuíram para a construção da noção de Ibéria Sagrada. Partindo das aproximações entre sagrado/ profano, a mitificação deste espaço é resultado da presença e inventio de relíquias dos santos, e de objetos relacionados à história cristã. No contexto medieval os vestígios sagrados serviram como fator de atração, e de valorização de reinos e cidades. As relíquias são evocadas como produtoras de memória, que validam um passado de excepcionalidade, solidificando os lugares santos e os personagens memoráveis que constituem a identidade da região.
