Este artigo analisa Die Judenbuche, uma novela de Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, publicada em 1842. O texto, compreendido pela autora como uma representação de costumes e moralidades de uma sociedade, retrata também personagens judaicos. Neste artigo, analiso a forma como os judeus são representados: como parte da sociedade ou como uma sociedade à parte.||This paper analyses Die Judenbuche, a novella by Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, published in 1842. The text, understood by the author to be a representation of costumes and morals of a society, also portraits some Jewish characters. In this paper, I analyse the way in which the Jews are represented: as part of society or as its outsiders.
