Descrição
In this article we discuss the ressignification of Disney Princesses, observed on sites of social media, in which profiles are created according to different interests. The starting point is the imaginary on the feminine originated from the classic stories of the nineteenth century (Grimm, Andersen, La Fontaine, Perrault, Lewis Carroll), not formerly written for children, but altered by the fantasy industry to a diversity of products. The debate developed rises from the slow change observed in the princesses’ profile over the last ten years: from helpless, dreamy young persons, waiting for the prince charming to small idealist heroines, who fight for a cause. The objective is to explore these ressignifications, based on princesses’ profiles on Facebook, intending to analyze them, in search of elements that may sign the constitution of feminine identity in contemporaneity.||Neste artigo discutimos as ressignificações das Princesas Disney em sites de redes sociais, em que perfis são criados de acordo com interesses diversos. In this article we discuss the ressignification of Disney Princesses, observed on sites of social media, in which profiles are created according to different interests.
