O texto procura apontar para uma transformação no universo da fotografia que transcende dimensões técnicas. Trata-se de uma mutação mais profunda que se dá no estatuto mesmo da imagem fotográfica, na maneira singular como ela produz sentido. Historicamente, a fotografia sempre esteve ligada à idéia da mimese especular. As obras contemporâneas, entretanto, colocam em jogo uma concepção mais ampla e complexa de mimese. O signo fotográfico representa, mas é, também ele, um objeto, um construto intencional e subjetivo. Através de operações de desconstrução, de interferência e opacidade, essas obras não só explicitam como reinventam a constituição mediática da fotografia.||The text intends to point out to a transformation in the universe of photography that exceeds technic dimensions. One is about a deeper mutation occuring in the statute ofthe photographic image, that is, in the singular way it produces senses. Historically, photography was always related to the idea o f speculate mimesis. The contemporaries workmanships, however, place in game a larger and more complex conception of mimesis. The photographic sign represents, but it is, also it, an object, an intentional and subjective construto. Through operations of deconstruction, of interference and opacity, these workmanships not only turn clear the mediatic constitution of the photography but also recreate it.
