A produção de imagens é regida por práticas de construção de sentido entendidas como científicas ou artísticas e envolvem campos de um saber-fazer aparentemente distintos. Neste artigo, discutimos, a partir da semiótica discursiva, como esses dois estatutos da imagem se relacionam e se interpenetram, criando a figuração científica e mitopoética dos fenômenos astrofísicos exibidos no filme norte-americano de ficção científica Interestelar.||The production of images is ruled by practices of meaning construction understood as scientific or artistic that involve apparently distinct forms of know-how. In this article we discuss, based on discursive semiotics, how these two statutes of the image relate and interpenetrate, creating the scientific and mythopoetical figuration of the astrophysical phenomena exhibited in the North American science fiction film Interstellar.
