Orientador: Ernesto Giovanni Boccara||Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: A tese aprofunda a relação entre arte, técnica e estética com relação à animação cinematográfica para tratar da identificação que o indivíduo/espectador realiza ao se colocar diante dos filmes de animação, especialmente no que diz respeito à identidade de gênero. São analisados quatro filmes, de períodos diferentes: Uma cilada para Roger Rabbit (1988), Wall-e (2008), Alice no país das Maravilhas (2010) e Divertida Mente (2015) tendo como pontos centrais o erotismo, para compreender a linguagem em torno dos interditos que auxiliam na abstração de formas e na construção de gestos, que levaria a uma performatividade identificatória de gênero nas personagens criadas pela tecnologia. Os filmes utilizados na pesquisa constroem tramas que misturam personagens humanas com as criadas por meio da tecnologia ¿ com aparência humana e/ou não-humana ¿ dotadas de uma sensualidade. As personagens digitais, no que toca à abstração das formas, gestos e expressões, remetem à identidade de gênero produzem novas referências que não as tradicionais. Discute-se como, por meio disso, o espectador pode ser levado a questionar as referências tradicionais de gênero e a ser instigado a compreender a construção social de gênero sexual, o que permite supor que há nestes filmes o caráter de uma pedagogia visual como meio para abordar as mudanças sociais sobre identidade e sexualidade||Abstract: The thesis deepen the relationship between art, technique and aesthetics in relation to film animation to treat identifying the individual / viewer performs to stand in front of animated films, especially with regard to gender identity. They are analyzed four films from different periods: Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Wall-e (2008), Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Fun Mind (2015) having as central points eroticism, to understand the language around the prohibitions that aid in the abstraction of shapes and building gestures, leading to a identificatory performativity of gender in the characters created by technology. The films used in the research building plots that mix with the human characters created through technology - with human and / or non-human appearance - endowed with sensuality. Digital characters, as regards the abstraction of shapes, gestures and expressions, refer to gender identity produce new references that are not traditional.
