Orientador: Mauricius Martins Farina||Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: Esta dissertação visa analisar, de maneira crítica e reflexiva, o Salão Arte Pará, nos recortes 2002-2012, no que concerne ao seu processo de construção e legitimação na agenda cultural paraense, na medida em que a Fundação Rômulo Maiorana (instituição sem fins lucrativos), juntamente com um aparato midiático e uma curadoria estrategicamente escolhida, visa estabelecer o evento no cenário artístico da região e nacionalmente. Para tal, desenvolveu-se um levantamento a partir dos catálogos e jornais, confrontando com autores pertinentes às questões da pesquisa: propaganda e marketing, curadoria, expografia e história da arte||Abstract: This dissertation aims to analyze critically and reflectively, the Salão Arte Pará, in the years 2002-2012, with respect to the process of construction and legitimation in paraense cultural agenda, as the Romulo Maiorana Foundation (non-profit institution ), along with a media apparatus and a curated strategically chosen, aims to establish the event in the art scene of the region and nationally.
