Orientador: Anna Paula Silva Gouveia||Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: A arquitetura contemporânea, principalmente a produzida dos anos 2000 para o presente, tem demonstrado um crescente interesse em suas superfícies enquanto um campo de engajamento potencializador de experiências entre o indivíduo e o espaço construído. Esta pesquisa partiu da observação dessas superfícies e do efeito que as mesmas têm sobre a conformação da espacialidade enquanto resultantes de um projeto no design de superfícies. Assim, este trabalho surgiu do interesse em investigar o potencial do design de superfícies dentro do espaço arquitetônico, contribuindo para a sua poética e atuando em conjunto com o mesmo enquanto um objeto artístico. Através de um levantamento e da criação de um inventário de obras arquitetônicas, esta dissertação visou analisar o Design de Superfícies, entendendo-o como uma intersecção entre Arte, Arquitetura e Design, uma área de fronteiras borradas. Esta análise deu se através de figuras, focando principalmente no cariz das superfícies e nas formas como a cor e a materialidade se expressam. A partir desta abordagem, foi possível traçar tendências e encontrar características comuns nas obras da arquitetura contemporânea produzidas a partir dos anos 2000||Abstract: Contemporary architecture, especially that produced from the beginning of this century to the present, has shown a growing interest in its surfaces as a field of engagement that enhances experiences between the individual and the constructed space. This research arose from the observation of these surfaces and the effect they have on the spatiality while a product of the surface design. Hence, this research project came from the interest in investigating the potential of the design of surfaces within the architectural space contributing to its poetics and acting together as an artistic object. Through a survey and the creation of an inventory of architectural works, this research aimed to analyze the Surface Design, understanding it as an intersection between Art, Architecture and Design, an area of blurred boundaries. This analysis was done through figures, focusing mainly on the surface features and the ways in which color and materiality express themselves. From this analysis, it was possible to identify trends and find common characteristics in contemporary architecture works produced from the 2000s||Mestrado||Artes Visuais||Mestre em Artes Visuais
