Bureaucracy, as à means of organization, emerges in the Old Ages, declines with the splitting of the Roman Empire and imposes itself upon society with the event of the Industrial Revolution. Its characteristics, which are minutely described by Max Weber, give birth to the “classical concept of bureaucracy”, here examined. ||A burocracia, como forma de organização, surge na antiguidade, declina com a fragmentação do Império Romano e passa a se impor na sociedade com a Revolução Industrial.
