The article proposes to make a biographical-cultural comparison between the protagonist Macabéa, from A hora da estrela, and the life of her author Clarice Lispector. Aiming the objective, the article focuses, aboveall, on the protagonist's trajectory as a way to circumvent, therefore, the life trajectory of the writer Clarice Lispector, to conclude, that the book contemplates the fictional biography of the writer.||O artigo propõe fazer uma comparação de ordem biográfico-cultural entre a protagonista Macabéa, de A hora da estrela, e a vida de sua autora, Clarice Lispector. Visando cumprir o objetivado, o artigo centra-se, sobretudo, na trajetória da protagonista como forma de contornar, por conseguinte, a trajetória de vida da escritora Clarice Lispector, para concluir que o livro contempla a biografia ficcional da escritora.
