Este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre as fotografias periciais necroscópicas realizadas em casos de letalidade policial ocorridos na cidade de São Paulo e, por meio da bibliografia atinente à antropologia da imagem e da fotografia, aproximar e afastar análises de alguns autores que também trabalham a relação entre imagem e morte. Por meio da análise de cinco imagens retiradas de laudos necroscópicos de processos judiciais e inquéritos digitalizados no Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo, busca-se entender como os usos e os contextos de produção dessas fotografias nos permitem compreender a maneira como expressamos e encaramos certas mortes.||This article aims to reflect on the forensic necroscopic photographs taken in cases of police lethality that occurred in the city of São Paulo, and, through the bibliography related to anthropology of image and photography, approach and exclude analysis by authors who also work with the relationship between image and death. Through the selection of six images taken from legal proceedings and digitalized inquiries at the São Paulo State Court of Justice, this article seeks to analyze how the uses and the contexts of production of these photographs allow us to understand the way we express and face certain deaths.
