Resumo
O presente artigo pretende fazer uma análise de como o chefe huno Átila (c. 405 – 453) foi retratado em um dos grandes poemas épicos da Europa medieval, A Canção dos Nibelungos, levando em consideração também todo o contexto histórico envolvido.

Abstract
The present article intends to analyze how the hunnish chief Attila (c. 405 – 453) was portrayed in one of the greatest epic poems of Medieval Europe, Das Nibelunglied, taking into account also the whole historic context involved.
