Politics in Brazil, since the dictatorship, is accompanied by a growing search for visibility and rights. The discussion on LGBTQIA + identity politics gained other contours in the national cinema with the advance of social movements. The documentary "Meu Corpo é Político" (2017) addresses the day-to-day of four transgender people. The objective of this article is to understand the discursive strategies employed by the film to guide LGBTQIA + identity politics. For this, a bibliographical review was carried out linked to queer theory as well as an analysis of the visual and verbal discourses of the film. Finally, it is noted that the documentary strengthens the visibility of transgender people, collaborating with the discussion on social and political rights of transsexuals by criticizing the cisnormative system.||A política no Brasil, desde a ditadura, é acompanhada por uma crescente busca por visibilidade e direitos. A discussão sobre políticas identitárias LGBTQIA+ ganhou outros contornos no cinema nacional com o avanço dos movimentos sociais. O documentário "Meu Corpo é Político" (2017) aborda o dia a dia de quatro pessoas transgêneras. O objetivo deste artigo é compreender as estratégias discursivas empregadas pelo filme para pautar as políticas identitárias LGBTQIA+. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica ligada à teoria queer bem como uma análise dos discursos visuais e verbais do filme. Por fim, constata-se que o documentário fortalece a visibilidade das pessoas trans, colaborando com a discussão sobre direitos sociais e políticos de transexuais ao criticar o sistema cisnormativo.
