Traditionally, it is during fashion shows that artists present their production to the consumers. However, in the past decades, fashion shows have become more sophisticated and present such richness of scenery that they more resemble theatrical productions. In this article, I address the relevance of Alexander McQueen’s theatrical staging of his fashion collections. Mas, desde as últimas décadas, eles têm se sofisticado de maneira a se transformarem em verdadeiros espetáculos cuja riqueza de cena lembra o que, em geral, entende-se por teatro.
