No Brasil, os primeiros discos gravados no segmento da música instrumental de viola são da década de 1960. Neste segmento, músicos e pesquisadores reconhecem algumas inovações inauguradas pela produção do músico Almir Sater. Tomando como referência a audição crítica de discos instrumentais de outros violeiros, buscamos neste artigo tecer algumas considerações sobre o tratamento dado à instrumentação da composição “Luzeiro”, registrada no ano de 1985 em seu disco intitulado Instrumental. Ao término deste trabalho, verificou-se a grande relevância que esse aspecto representa para essa gravação da composição.||In Brazil, the first recordings recorded in the instrumental music segment of Brazilian ten-string guitar are from the 1960s. In this segment, musicians and researchers attribute some innovations to the production of musician Almir Sater. Taking as reference the critical hearing of instrumental discs of other Brazilian ten-string guitar instrumentalists, we seek, in this work, to make some considerations about the treatment given to the instrumentation of the composition Luzeiro, registered in 1985 in his disc entitled Instrumental. At the end of this article, we verified the great relevance that this aspect represents for this recording of the composition.
