ABSTRACT: The literary production of Brazilian black writers carries the urgency of occupying a space that has been denied to them for decades. The subordinate condition as pointed out by Spivak (2010) can be experienced by these women in three ways: by being a woman; being black and being poor. Thus, based on the contributions of the Indian thinker and also with the objective of disseminating African matrix literature, it will be proposed in this paper the analysis of one of the poetic texts of the writer Lívia Natália in Currents and other marine studies (2015). The poet though literary discourse reinforces the importance of speaking of religiosity, affectivity and ancestry. Through theorists and researchers who study the field of ancestry, this article seeks to think about how the writer's poetry dialogues with the ancestral space and, finally, how this space becomes indispensable for the construction of meaning of her poetry.

Memory.||RESUMO: A produção literária de escritoras negras brasileiras carrega a urgência de ocupar um espaço que por décadas foi negado a elas. A condição subalterna, conforme salienta Spivak (2010), pode ser vivida por essas mulheres de três maneiras: por ser mulher; ser negra e ser pobre. Dessa forma, a partir das contribuições da pensadora indiana e, ainda, com o objetivo de disseminar a literatura de matriz africana, propomos neste trabalho a análise de um dos textos poéticos da escritora Lívia Natália, em seu Correntezas e outros estudos marinhos (2015). A poeta, através do discurso literário, reforça a importância de se falar sobre religiosidade, afetividade e ancestralidade. Procuramos, através de teóricos e pesquisadores que se debruçam sobre o estudo da ancestralidade, pensar em como a poesia da escritora dialoga com o espaço ancestral e, enfim, em como esse espaço torna-se imprescindível para construção de sentido da sua poesia.
