Hiroshima mon amour é o filme de 1959, de Marguerite Duras e Alain Resnais que, sessenta anos depois, é ainda considerado inesgotável obra prima do cinema e da literatura. A partir da concepção de Humberto Eco (1971) sobre a “palavra poética” e do entendimento de Ricoeur (1983) que retoma Aristóteles ao considerar o processo de representação como a atividade poética em si, neste trabalho, pretende-se mostrar aspectos da poética com que a autora trata a dimensão da memória e do horror, opondo-lhe uma relação de amor em que o “visível” leva ao “invisível” e abre-se para o “aberto” da escrita (cf. BLANCHOT, 1955, p. 185).||Hiroshima mon amour is a movie by Marguerite Duras and Alain Resnais, filmed in 1959, and after sixty years, is still considered an inexhaustible masterpiece of cinema and literature. Based on Humberto Eco’s concept (1971) of the “poetical word” and the teachings of Ricoeur (1983) who retakes Aristoteles, when considering the process of representation as a poetic activity in itself, this paper intends to demonstrate the poetical aspects with which Marguerite Duras approaches the dimension of memory and horror, confronting it with a relation of love, where the “visible” leads to the “invisible” and moves towards the “opening of the writing” (cf. BLANCHOT, 1955, p. 185).
