This article proposes a reflection about the geopolitical conflicts andbiotechnological experiments present in the album Chaos A.D. of the brazilianthrash metal band Sepultura. The songs of Chaos A.D. approach fromgeopolitical conflicts to biotechnological experiments, attack the power thatis always shown as “will to power” and technics as “will to technics”. ChaosA.D. comes to us with a poetic denouncer of the forces that operate favoringcontrol of the bodies and the narratives of the subject. As such, we departfrom Michel Foucault’s thinking of the resistance and its articulations aboutthe idea of control, as well the development of the concept of technics byUmberto Galimberti and Glaucia Dunley.||Este artigo propõe uma reflexão acerca de conflitos geopolíticos e experiênciasbiotecnológicas presentes no álbum Chaos A.D. da banda mineirade Thrash Metal, Sepultura. As composições de Chaos A.D. abordam desdeconflitos geopolíticos às experiências biotecnológicas, atacam o poder que semostra sempre como “vontade de poder” e a técnica como “vontade de técnica”.O álbum Chaos A.D. nos chega como um denunciador poético das forçasque operam em favor do controle dos corpos e das narrativas do sujeito. Paratanto, partiremos do pensamento de Michel Foucault acerca da resistência ede suas articulações acerca da ideia de controle, bem como da elaboração doconceito de técnica por Umberto Galimberti e Glaucia Dunley.
