O presente trabalho pretende desenvolver uma reflexão sobre o romance Balada de amor ao vento, de Paulina Chiziane, e analisá-lo sob a perspectiva do romance de formação, especificamente do Bildungsroman feminino, a partir de referências africanas, destacando-se a representação feminina no espaço moçambicano. Nesse sentido, pretendemos revelar as implicações do uso de tal conceito na literatura moçambicana e as pontes, bem como as diferenças, que o romance de Chiziane estabelece com o modelo europeu desse gênero. Para tanto, como anteparo teórico as questões levantadas por Mikhail Bakhtin, ao estudar o romance de formação, bem como as leituras mais recentes do tema, propostas por Wilma Patricia Maas, Cristina Ferreira Pinto e Marcus Vinicius Mazzari.||The present work intends to develop a reflection on the novel Balada de amor ao vento, by Paulina Chiziane, and analyze it from the perspective of the formation novel, specifically the feminine Bildungsroman, from African references, standing out the feminine representation in the Mozambican space. In this sense, we intend to reveal the implications of the use of such concept in Mozambican literature and the bridges, as well as the differences, that Chiziane's novel establishes with the European model of this genre. For this purpose, as a theoretical framework, the questions raised by Mikhail Bakhtin, when studying the novel of formation, as well as the most recent readings of the theme, proposed by Wilma Patricia Maas, Cristina Ferreira Pinto and Marcus Vinicius Mazzari.
