Follows a line of academic research about the production and reception of Argentine comics during the second half of the 1970s. In certain historical situations, authors and editors produced changes in conditions of relative autonomy with respect to the capitalist and commercial systems. In this case, we focus on a period in the field of Argentine sequential narratives, the 1970s, within which cultural and social changes were intense at practically all levels of practice: production, editing, circulation, and reception. This was precisely the time in which the writer Carlos Trillo (Buenos Aires, 1943 - London, 2011) marked a new era in the field of South American comics. We will try to understand and explain how the author achieved this feat.||Expõe uma proposta teórica e metodológica para pesquisar a produção, crítica e recepção de histórias em quadrinhos. Em certas situações históricas onde há condições de relativa autonomia com respeito ao sistema económico-empresarial capitalista, autores e editores podem promover modificações dentro do âmbito cultural onde atuam. A nossa pesquisa concentra-se em um dos mais importantes roteiristas das décadas de 1970 e 1980 que teve importancia no âmbito da historieta argentina contemporânea: Carlos Trillo (Buenos Aires, 1943 – Londres, 2011). Foi precisamente nos anos 1970 que Carlos Trillo marcou uma nova era no campo dos quadrinhos riopratenses, e será nosso objetivo compreender de que forma o autor fez isso.
