From the analysis of the films “Almost two brothers” (original title “Quase dois irmãos”), by Lucia Murat, and “Los rubios” (same original title), by Albertina Carri, it is examined memory’s place and its representations through characters and contemporary political scenarios. It is specially important the questions related to memory role regarding the relationships between 1970’s political activists, political power and configurations of modern society.||A partir da análise dos filmes Quase dois irmãos, de Lúcia Murat, e Los rubios, de Albertina Carri, discute-se o lugar da memória e suas representações através de personagens e cenários políticos contemporâneos. Interessam, especialmente, as questões relativas ao papel da memória no que diz respeito às relações entre militantes políticos dos anos 1970, o poder político e a configuração da sociedade atual.
