RESUMOEste artigo propõe-se a analisar algumas categorias, com o fito de elaborar uma reflexão sobre a memória e o patrimônio urbano: destacadamente, atém- se às categorias tempo e espaço. Propõe uma categoria de síntese: cronotopo. Toma Paul Ricoeur como referencial para pensar estas categorias. Passa então à reflexão sobre memória e identidade.ABSTRACTThis article aims to analyse some concepts concerning memory and urban cultural heritage: namely, the categories of time and space. The articles indicates a synthesis category: chronotopos. Paul Ricouer is the theoretical and philosophical reference to think about these categories. Afterwards, the article handles with the subject of memory and identity.
