O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar o Conselho Nacional de Cinema – Concine – que vigorou de 1976 a 1990. Nestes quase 14 anos, teve seis dirigentes, quatro estatutos diferentes e baixou 195 Resoluções. Assim, procuramos levantar a trajetória deste Conselho, seus antecedentes, seus principais problemas de gestão, as resoluções mais polêmicas e algumas hipóteses para sua extinção.

The objective of this work was to annalise the National Council of Cinema - Concine - that existed from 1976 untill 1990. In these 14 years the Concine had six directors, four different statutory regulations and passed 195 norms. Therefore, we tried to verify the trajectory of this Council, its antecedents, the main gestion problems, the most polemic norms and some hipothesis for it extinction.
