This article reflects on the challenges for ensuring an interdisciplinary project in the contemporary from the dialogue between two thinkers: Jürgen Habermas and Ivani Fazenda. With this dialog, we intend to present some elements of the present moment that challenges, and the possibility of an investment that contributes to a more humane and humanizing action for an urgent project that allocate the human being in its place: the protagonist of the history of the world and himself.||O presente artigo reflete sobre os desafios para a efetivação de um projeto interdisciplinar na contemporaneidade a partir da interlocução entre dois pensadores: Jürgen Habermas e Ivani Fazenda. Com esse diálogo, pretende-se apresentar alguns elementos do momento atual que nos desafia sobremaneira, e a possibilidade de um aporte que contribua para uma ação mais humana e humanizadora em prol de um projeto urgente que aloque o ser humano no seu devido lugar: o de protagonista da história, do mundo e dele próprio.
