This article-homage to Algirdas Greimas aims to highlight the contribution of the Dictionary of Semiotics (Semiotique, Dictionnaire raisonne de la théorie du langage, Greimas-Courtés) to narrative theory and its applications, including, the theories of cinema and television. In narrative theory two well-defined fields can be distinguished: the narratological theory proper as a reference science – for example, from Aristotle to Greimas, through Propp, Bajtin, Todorov, Barthes, Genet – and the narrative theories applied to literature, cinema and television. In this work, we relate some of the key entries of the Dictionary of semiotics with film and television narrative.||Este artículo-homenaje a Algirdas Greimas tiene como objetivo resaltar la contribución del Diccionario de semiótica de Greimas y Courtés a la teoría narrativa y sus aplicaciones, entre ellas, las teorías del cine y de la televisión. En la teoría narrativa se pueden distinguir dos campos bien delimitados: la teoría narratológica propiamente tal como ciencia de referencia —por ejemplo, de Aristóteles a Greimas, pasando por Propp, Bajtin, Todorov, Barthes, Genet— y las teorías narrativas aplicadas a la literatura, al cine y a la televisión. En este trabajo, relacionamos algunas de las entradas claves del Diccionario de semiótica con la narrativa fílmica y televisiva.
