O que nos olha quando vemos a arte? Como é possível pesquisar e escrever sobre isso? Partindo da proposta de uma construção metodológica que aproximasse de forma tensionada os diferentes saberes da arte e da psicanálise, este artigo apresenta uma construção que se deu a partir da relação estabelecida entre metodologias do campo da arte e a metodologia freudiana existente no texto “O ‘Estranho’” (Freud, 1996a), o qual inaugura a aproximação entre esses campos. Assim, esse artigo apresenta a metodologia Entre arte e psicanálise formalizada pelo desejo de escrita da minha experiência de estranhamento diante das fotografias de Diane Arbus. Nessa escrita, parto do meu não-saber, que constitui a minha afetação e escolha por tais fotos tensionada pela formalização da metodologia apresentada por Freud e pelos aspectos técnicos da obra que corroboram para tal efeito de estranhamento. Aqui aproximo os aspectos técnicos da obra fotográfica do que a psicanálise elaborou sobre o tema e construo uma metodologia entre arte, psicanálise e minha experiência (que comporta a angústia que me afeta pelo estranho que experimento), evidenciando o que há de singular na escrita de cada pesquisador e a possiblidade de uma estrutura metodológica que não sobreponha um saber ao outro. ||What looks at us when we see art? How is it possible to research it and write about it? Based on the proposal of a methodological framework that could approximate the different knowledges of art and psychoanalysis in a tensioned way, this article presents an analyses originated from the relation between methodologies of the art field and the Freudian methodology in “The ‘Uncanny’”, the text which inaugurates the approximation between these fields. Thus, this article presents the methodology betweenart and psychoanalysis, materialized by the desire of writing my experience of uncanniness with the photos of Diane Arbus. In this text, I start from my not-knowing, which constitutes my choice for such photos and my affectation by them, tensioned by the formalization of the methodology presented by Freud and by the technical aspects of the work that colaborates for this uncanny effect. Here, I bring together the technical aspects of the photographic work and what psychoanalysis formulated about the theme, to conceive a methodology betweenart, psychoanalysis and my experience (which bears the anguish that affects me through the uncanny that I experience), highlighting what is singular in the writing of each researcher and the possibility of a methodological framework that does not privilege one form of knowledges.
