On this paper, we develop our analysis associated to a dialog between history and literature, highlighting what should be a recognition of the feminine characters of the writings Beatriz Cenci e Leonor de Mendonça of Gonçalves Dias, as women identified by what we call selfish morality on the period. Therefore, we propose ourselves to the readings and descriptions of the actions done by these same characters (Beatriz, Lucrécia and Leonor) on behalf of their own expectations, whom don't confuse itselves with their own boundaries to morality. We worked also through the unwinding of the paper with the main demands of the “first feminism” on the XIX century and it incidence on these works, just as the concept of “love” and way that we believe it moved the actions, struggles and choices inside the modernity and the Romanticism of Gonçalves Dias.||No presente artigo, desenvolvemos nossa análise inerente a um diálogo entre história e literatura, destacando isto que seria o reconhecimento das personagens femininas nas obras Beatriz Cenci e Leonor de Mendonça de Gonçalves Dias, como mulheres também determinadas pelo que chamamos de moralidade egoísta no período. Destarte, nos propomos à leitura e a descrição das ações efetuadas por estas mesmas personagens (Beatriz, Lucrécia e Leonor) em prol de suas expectativas, as quais não se confundem com os limites próprios a tal moralidade. Trabalhamos também, no desenrolar do artigo, com as principais reivindicações do “primeiro feminismo” no século XIX e sua incidência nas obras, assim como com o conceito de “amor” e a forma pela qual acreditamos que ele tenha movimentado as ações, lutas e escolhas no interior da modernidade e do Romantismo de Gonçalves Dias.
