Regarding to ergonomics, this article proposes some considerations about physical dimension of the instrumentalist musician labour, especially about the workplace and the working position, its consequences to the activity and to health of these performers. It points the interrelation between the other dimensions and enumerates factors that flow together to the health-falling ill process of musicians (instrumentalists), alerting them to the necessity of the inclusion of preventive practice in the period of development of the new professionals in the area.

Assinala a inter-relação entre as demais dimensões e pontua fatores que confluem no processo saúde-adoecimento de músicosinstrumentistas, alertando para a necessidade da inclusão de práticas preventivas no período de formação de novos profissionais da área.
