This article aims to highlight the presence of traveling exhibitions of wildlife in São Paulo of the nineteenth century. For having done locally as one among other circus attractions, they have been overlooked as a specific type of popular exhibition, which combines fun and education functions. Are object of interest for studies on the exhibition culture of the nineteenth century.||Este artigo tem como objetivo evidenciar a presença de exposições itinerantes de animais selvagens na São Paulo do século XIX. Por terem se realizado, localmente, como uma entre outras atrações de circo, têm passado despercebidas como tipo específico de exposição popular, que conjuga funções de divertimento e instrução. Constituem objeto de interesse para estudos sobre a cultura de exposições do século XIX.
