The article presents data from an ethnography carried out between 2017 and 2019, in a peripheral neighborhood on the south side of São Paulo, where parties known as fluxos take place. I propose an analysis based on the concept-word of "musicking" by Cristopher Small (1998). From this perspective, it is essential to understand all the agents engaged in the production of the party, even those who apparently are not producing music, and even those considered non-human. What elements are behind a musical event in the streets of a quebrada? In the case of fluxos, we will see the centrality of funk sound systems in this "musicking" and what kind of sensations and reactions they cause. Funk and the party act in the sentimental and symbolic construction of these locations and in the production of shared identities.||O artigo apresenta dados de uma etnografia realizada entre 2017 e 2019, num bairro periférico da zona sul de São Paulo, onde acontecem bailes conhecidos como fluxos. Proponho uma análise a partir do verbo-conceito de "musicar" de Cristopher Small (1998). Sob tal perspectiva é fundamental entender todos os agentes engajados na produção da festa, mesmo aqueles que aparentemente não estão produzindo música, e mesmo aqueles considerados não-humanos. Que elementos estão por trás de uma manifestação musical nas ruas de uma quebrada? No caso dos fluxos, veremos a centralidade dos sistemas de som de funk nesse musicar e que tipo de sensações e reações eles causam. O funk e a festa atuam na construção sentimental e simbólica dessas localidades e na produção de identidades compartilhadas.
