The representational space of Amazonas’ amateur football presents great amount of richness in the appropriation of its elements, creating complex relations and territorialities. One of these appropriation forms occurs when football is vinculated to (religious or folkloric) festivals. So, the present study aims at analyzing the way football is associated to festivals in the representational space of Amazonas’ amateur football.||O espaço de representação do futebol amador do Amazonas apresenta grande riqueza de apropriação de seus elementos, criando complexas relações e territorialidades. Uma destas formas de apropriação ocorre quando o futebol se encontra vinculado aos festejos (religiosos ou folclóricos). Assim, o objetivo deste artigo é o de analisar de que forma o futebol está associado a festejos no espaço de representação do futebol amador do Amazonas.
